Middlesbrough sign striker Lita
Middlesbrough have completed the transfer of former Reading striker Leroy Lita on a three-year deal.
The 24-year-old former England under-21 international was released by the Royals in June after four years at the Madejski Stadium.
He had been linked with moves to Sheffield United, Leicester and Norwich where he was on loan last season.
Meanwhile Boro have confirmed they have agreed a season-long loan for striker Mido with Egyptian side Zamalek.
Congo-born Lita began his career at Bristol City, scoring 38 goals in 100 appearances before moving to Reading in 2005 in a £1m move.
While at the Royals he netted 32 times in 100 games and while on loan at Charlton between March and April last year he scored three times in eight games.
There followed three months on loan at Carrow Road where he found the net seven times in 16 appearances.
