AC Milan Move For Manchester City's Elano - Report Empty AC Milan Move For Manchester City's Elano - Report

Post by Fabregas04 Sun Jul 26, 2009 3:13 pm

According to Italian source, 24oredisport.com, AC Milan have moved for castaway playmaker Elano Blumer of Manchester City.

The Brazilian has been deemed surplus to requirements at Eastlands and has been transfer listed, as the club continue their revolution this summer, looking to add to the transfers that have already completed, including Emmanuel Adebayor and Carlos Tevez

Indeed, Elano's exit has all but officially been confirmed, as he has been left out of the Citizens squad for their South African pre-season preparations.

Milan have apparently offered the Blues around £8 million for his services, as they themselves continue to search for a replacement to pull Kaka's strings in midfield, after he left to join Real Madrid in June.

Earlier today it was reported by Goal.com that Cologne were leading the chase for the talented Brazilian, but if the Italian giants Milan have made an offer, it would seem the scales would tip in thier favour.

Both sides are yet to comment on these rumours, but the coming days, if not hours, will be sure to unveil new developments.

Elano signed for City in 2007 for the then manager Sven-Goran Eriksson, but the playmaker has not impressed Mark Hughes sufficiently enough since his managerial reign began a year ago.
