Mario Balotelli's Agent Stays Quiet On Arsenal Link

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is reputedly tracking Inter striker Mario Balotelli.

The Sun reports that scouts from the English club were in Genoa last week to watch the hitman in action as the Nerazzurri trounced the Grifoni 5-0. It is said Wenger is keen on the 19-year-old, and he is ready to challenge Jose Mourinho with a bid.

The report claims Balotelli is down the 'Special One's' pecking order, with Samuel Eto'o, Diego Milito and David Suazo all ahead of him. In the face of that, the Italian Under-21 star is looking for regular action and would consider a move to a venue where he could enjoy just that.

Meanwhile, Wenger has supposedly been looking to add a young forward to his rank of players.

Neither side has confirmed the rumours. Goal.com called up the player's agent and brother Corrado, but he declined to give a full interview regarding the reports in England.

He told Goal.com, "I don't want to respond about this. I have no comments to make about it."

He is definitely a good striker & he is still young.
