Wenger - Senderos future is still ‘open’

Arsène Wenger admits the future of Philippe Senderos is still undecided.

After making 15 appearances for AC Milan during a season-long loan deal in 2008/09, the Swiss defender, who has appeared 115 times for the Gunners, is back at the Club.

He made his first Arsenal appearance for over a year on Tuesday night as a second-half substitute in the Gunners’ 7-1 victory over SC Columbia.

But whether or not Senderos will stay in North London is unclear. Speaking after the match, Wenger gave an update on the 24-year-old’s situation.

“It’s open,” the manager said. “At the moment he is looking for solutions.

“He has many opportunities but he has to decide on his future.”
