Gallas set to miss Stoke trip, Eboue doubtful
Arsenal could be without William Gallas and Emmanuel Eboue for the trip to Stoke on Saturday.
Both defenders were involved in the 4-4 draw with Tottenham on Wednesday night and picked up niggles. The captain has a hamstring problem while the Ivorian defender is struggling with his knee. The former is almost certainly out while the latter is facing further tests.
“It looks like Gallas will be out and maybe Eboue too,” Wenger told Arsenal TV Online on Thursday lunchtime. “We’ll assess him tomorrow.
“It is a little recurrence of the hamstring for William and for Manu it is his knee. He is not running properly at the moment. He still has pain there.”

ARSENAL manager Arsene Wenger has insisted his side remain "united" and "passionate" in their desire to win.
The London club were criticised by their fans and the media after conceding two late goals to draw 4-4 with Tottenham on Wednesday and some reports have suggested there are rifts in the dressing room.
Striker Emmanuel Adebayor has also admitted he does not feel the side can win the Barclays Premier League unless they develop a winning mentality.
Wenger said: "We were all very disappointed. The mood in the dressing-room was of disbelief and frustration. But the players are united, passionate and want to win.
"They are in this together, and they want to be winners together. We have a long way to go and we are all determined to show that we can fight for this title together.
"We know the truth on the inside and that is not what has been projected on the outside. We know what we have to do."
Wenger also believes some of the reaction to the Tottenham game has been exaggerated. The Frenchman admitted his frustration, but feels good will come of it if the players learn from their mistakes.
He said: "Yes, it's not all bad, but it is disappointing. Our run is going on and I would say the future of our season lies in how much we learn from games like that.
"We have fantastic potential, but the future of the team is about what we do with that potential. We want to address that very quickly and respond."
Defender Mikael Silvestre believes Arsenal will take the positives out of Wednesday's draw and return to winning ways at Stoke City today. Silvestre, who scored his first Arsenal goal against Harry Redknapp's side, refused to be downbeat about the draw.
"As the manager said there were a lot of positive things about this game, but it is something we have to bounce back from very quickly," said Silvestre.
"It was painful because, at 4-2 up, you think you have won it and conceding two goals in the last four or five minutes of the match is very hard to take. It feels like we lost that game."
Silvestre could find himself with a new central defensive partner as captain William Gallas and his fellow-defender Emmanuel Eboue are both doubtful because of injury.

Re: Stoke City v Arsenal | EPL
First of all thanks to van persie for put the icing on the cake for us.
What was wenger thinking with the team formation?
Fabregas, diaby, denilson, Alex song.....no width at all. No pace. He went for height to match stoke, why didn't we play on our strengths.
Why didn't van persie start?
Many questions to be asked? None of them will be answered. Even if we were trying to rest our players since the busy schedule, we cant rest so many crucial players. IMO Nasri, Walcott, VanP all should have started in the first place.
Wenger should protect the players now, or else we will be on a very bad run of form.
