Hull Striker King Arrested For Assault Empty Hull Striker King Arrested For Assault

The Tigers' on-loan frontman is in trouble again, this time after being accused of assauting a woman on a night out last weekend...

Hull City striker Marlon King has been arrested on suspicion of assaulting a woman during incident at a London bar last weekend.

The 28-year-old is accused of assaulting a 20-year-old woman in the early hours of Sunday morning at the Soho Revue Bar in Brewer Street in the city.

King voluntarily visited a police station on Humberside on Wednesday, where he was placed under arrest.

The forward has since been bailed and his club have declined to comment on the incident.

A Metropolitan police spokesperson told the press: "We are investigating an allegation of assault on a 20-year-old female in the early hours of Sunday morning.

"A 28-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident. He has been bailed to return on a date in February."

King attracted headlines last month when he was involved in an altercation with team-mate Dean Windass at a Scarborough casino.

The Jamaican international is on loan at the KC Stadium from Wigan Athletic. King netted the winner during Hull's weekend win over Middlesbrough at the weekend.

Meanwhile, his agent affirmed that the club will not be seeking to make his agreement permanent as yet.

Tony Finnigan told the press: "Hull have him until the end of the season and he's doing well so I see no reason why Marlon would want to change that agreement.

"He's doing well and he's a big piece of a very good jigsaw puzzle."
